Twilight turned around

Have you ever felt completely lonely in the middle of a crowd? Or perhaps even with your partner and family? I know how it feels. I’ve been there. I wanted to write a song for everyone who feels that way now. A song about hope. I wanted to say change is possible. It’s never too late.

What I actually did was to borrow the musical theme from the absolutely darkest song I’ve ever written (with Norwegian lyrics) and use it at the start of the new song. I found it quite liberating to overwrite that 13-year-old scream of anger and sadness with a story about hope.
